    I went to the gym for the first time tonight. I am 442 pounds, and I had no clue what I was doing. lol I started out doing cardio, but then I was like fuck cardio, and went to the dumbbells. I didn’t really know what to do with the dumbbells after I did some lunges, so then I went and just decided to methodically go through each machine and read the instructions. XD I was so embarrassed at being clueless, but I did it and didn’t run away. I really like weight training, though, and want to learn how to do it better and get a routine!

    hi , loved your video and want to say grats on your weight lost and how you look now , i hope ill be as lucky as you , im 5’10 (290 pounds) , im 48 years old , and im diabetic , i have just started a diet since first of march i was 316 pounds , i lowered my food intake and taking ( boost shake in the morning , green tea pills and garcinia combogia pills ) to help loose weight , i cant exercise yet do to a operation done under my foot need for it to be healed

    I thought this was going to be just another cheesy, “You can do it if you set your mind to it!” speech, but it was actually really inspirational. I grew up as the fat girl and it felt like everyone around me made sure that I knew it. I’ve lost some weight since then, but I’m still in the “obese” scale. I don’t think the “fat girl” would ever leave me, but she can at least feel more comfortable in her own skin, and that’s what I’m really working on!

    My cardio has improved and I just need to stop being so scared of looking dumb and confused when I see the weights.

    Hey man, just discovered your channel today and I wanted to thank you for this video. This video really resonated with me because I am finally making the choice to lose weight and really start hitting the gym on a regular basis. I am at that point right now where I do feel a little unconfident and lost while I am at the gym but I have been taking a similar approach to what you recommended, going in, doing the treadmill/bike/stairs and just trying to create the routine as well as find my comfort level.     No matter how big or scrawny you are most people will have no judgement those jacked dudes weren’t born jacked they worked for it and most are willing to talk nonstop with about tips and dieting there are assholes but much less than you think. You’ll get more respect than you think for just being there and trying

    Hey ya! First off I like watching videos like Fat Meets Fire because its a good resource. Secondly I work out at home cause I don’t like going to the gym for the simple reason that I have to travel, thats all. I work out with beach body (insanity) and have lost 13 pounds in 2 months. Now I’m in Month #3 week 2 going on 3 and still at the same weight on the scale. I feel like I eat healthy and I exercise daily with Shaun T and the crew. I know losing weight is not easy for everybody. I’ am starting to believe that consistency is the key here. Good Luck to all tho!!

    Hey I’m new here and I kinda just want to ask for advice. Right now I’m currently 16 years old just about to turn 17 in a couple months and I’m weighing around 220 lbs roughly. I’m looking to drop down to at least 185 lbs before college starts for me next year in September. I’ve been going to the gym working out for about 2 weeks now. My diet is just really bad. My parents are always buying junk food and such and time is not on my side considering I have finals and such coming up. I’m looking for a meal plan for breakfast, lunch and dinner every day to eat and it wondering if you have any ideas. I’ve tried so many things to google and to other people on social media but I can’t stick to it. So If you have anything to help even the littlist of bit I would really appreciate it. Also if any one else in the comments has a meal plan that’s been working for them for weight loss I would really appreciate it if you left a comment saying what you’ve been doing.
